Spacer Rim for Apiguard, MiteAway

Our preferred Spring and Fall mite treatments require a spacer rim between 1.5" and 2" deep. This rim is placed on top of the top hive body and below the lids (under the inner cover) to allow space for your Apiguard trays or MiteAwayII pad. (With MiteAwayII, our Spring treatment, you'll also want to add a couple square sticks, approx. 3/4 x 3/4 x 6. Spare wooden entrance reducers are great for this).

Obviously, the spacer rim does not include either of the treatments pictured.
