Laminated Field Guide: Annual Hive Cycle of the Honeybee

This two sided laminated 8-1/2"X11" field guide provides an overview of the major cycles important to beekeepers, including bee population, varroa mite and tracheal mite.  It summarizes each season's beekeeper tasks and considerations, and shows some suggested hive configurations appropriate for the Pacific Northwest.

 

On the reverse side are season-based references that are important for beekeepers to know, including bee development times, and worker stages.  And it gives a brief summary of the major races of the western honey bee most often cultivated by beekeepers.
