Queens are shipped in 3-hole cages with a candy plug and attendants.

If you are located in the Pacific Northwest, queens will be shipped, by default, via USPS Priority Mail for $8.75 (up to 5 queens per box). Please be advised that this shipping price may differ slightly from the online store shipping quote.

If you are located outside of the Pacific Northwest, you may consider upgrading shipping to UPS NEXT DAY AIR. Warmer temperatures are very stressful for queen bees. We'd rather you found a supplier closer to you than have you assume the risks of a road-weary, dehydrated queen

Queens will be packaged/shipped separately from other product in most cases, for their protection. We will make adjustments to your online shipping quote as appropriate.

IMPORTANT: QUEENS ARE SHIPPED AT CUSTOMER'S RISK.
Beginning in Mid-April, Queens typically arrive weekly at Ruhl Bee Supply on Tuesdays. They will be available through Early September. They must be ordered in advance and the cut off date to order is Thursday of the previous week. If you opt to have the queen(s) shipped, they will be shipped on the same day they arrive to our location.
