Queens are shipped in 3-hole candy cages with attendants.

Queens will be shipped, by default, via USPS Priority Mail for $9.10 (up to 5 queens per box) even though our other online products are shipped via UPS.

If you are located outside of the Pacific Northwest, you may consider upgrading shipping to UPS NEXT DAY AIR. Warmer temperatures are very stressful for queen bees. We'd rather you found a supplier closer to you than have you assume the risks of a road-weary, dehydrated queen

Queens will be packaged/shipped separately from other product in most cases, for their protection. We will make adjustments to your online shipping quote as appropriate.

Sorry, marked queens are not available. We recommend marking them at least one week after introduction.

IMPORTANT: QUEENS ARE SHIPPED AT CUSTOMER'S RISK.

Queens typically arrive at Ruhl Bee Supply on Tuesdays. They must be ordered in advance and the cut off date to order is Thursday of the previous week. If you opt to have the queen(s) shipped, they will be shipped on the same day they arrive to our location.
