Triangle Bee Escape Board

This Bee Escape board uses the a double triangle design to enable bees to exit the super but makes reentry difficult.  It is is claimed to work faster than a conventional Porter style escape that can often get clogged with bees. 

 

Place on the hive (triangle side facing down) between the Honey Super and Brood Chamber.  Remove cleared honey super several hours later or the next day.  If you wait too long, eventually bees will start to work their way back into the super.
